For this project, I developed a complete brand identity for an artisan distillery based at Cader Idris Farm in North Wales. Inspired by the landscape, local heritage, and sense of place, I built the brand from the ground up, exploring a series of key themes and ideas that helped define its character. These concepts informed every stage of the process, from the brand story and visual identity to packaging design and supporting brand assets. The goal was to create a distinctive and authentic brand that captures the craftsmanship of the distillery while celebrating its strong connection to the Welsh countryside.

Main key words that I focused on were:

  • Myths and legends

  • They make spirits by hand

  • Try to be as sustainable as they can

  • Use locally sourced ingredients

Based on this I wanted to incorporate the Giant king in one way for the other along with using elements of rolling farmland and woodland.

Most important aspect of this project was to decide the positioning of the brand which allowed to me understand the consumer market and dive deeper in their preferences, below is one such example providing a description of what the ideal customer for our brand would be.
